Kentucky Housing Corporation is a self-supporting, public corporation of the Commonwealth of Kentucky administratively attached to the Finance and Administration Cabinet. A portion of KHC funds are derived from the interest earned through the sale of tax-exempt mortgage revenue bonds. From these proceeds, KHC has made homeownership possible for over 60,000 low-income and moderate-income Kentucky families. KHC also operates through the receipt of fees for administering federal programs including rental assistance that makes safe, decent, affordable housing available to more than 27,000 low-income Kentuckians.

Says Jennifer Redden, System Development Specialist at KHC, “We’ve been using Destiny for 5 years now, and we’re not a typical customer. KHC has a lot of unusual funding programs compared to the commercial sector, and we’ve needed to customize our version of Destiny, and with some IT expertise we’ve been able to do whatever we need and tailor Destiny to our unusual, “investor” approach. KHC has come a long ways with INTEGRA from a mostly paper-based manual/fax system to a very effective loan processing system.”

Destiny’s web functionality has been central to our online approach with lenders. We have over 400 lenders who can log on to get reservations and request funding online, track funds, check status and do basically anything to monitor any key point in the loan process. And if they choose, they can get automated emails for as many of those steps as they want. Different types of lenders can “see” what what’s important to them online. They love it, and most lenders say that it’s one of the best systems they work with. Destiny gives them virtually seamless integration with KHC loan processes.”

“INTEGRA keeps improving Destiny, and the new features and versions don’t cost us any more money. Very unusual compared to other LOS vendors I’ve heard about.”
